"Unshackled" is a brilliant magic trick. The spectator chooses a card (which may be signed) with a hole.
The magician takes a card (with two holes on each side) and traps the spectator's card between the folds.
The magician then takes a rubber band and inserts it into the hole from behind, until it comes out and is firmly attached to the spectator's card.
Strangely, when the magician holds the rubber band, the spectator pulls the card and it comes loose as if it wasn't attached, without any tears or cuts!
And, strangely, the rubber band is shown moving back and forth, still firmly attached to the folded card. After the rubber bands are removed, the card and rubber band can be checked to ensure there is nothing suspicious...
Completely verifiable.
